Important Update: The JEE 2021 syllabus especially the JEE Main 2021 syllabus is said to remain the same as the previous years. This was recently announced by the Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal in a live online interaction with students where he basically ruled out any possibility of reducing the syllabus.
While the syllabus for JEE Main (possibly for JEE Advanced also) looks to remain the same, the minister said that there is a proposal that has been shared with the concerned authorities where students will be given an option to answer any 75 questions (25 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) out of 90 questions (30 questions each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics). During JEE Main 2020, there were 75 questions which had to be answered by the candidates.
